1971-ci ildə Bakıda 1 nömrəli fizika-riyaziyyat təmayüllü internat məktəbini əla qiymətlərlə, 1976-cı ildə    Azərbaycan Dövlət Universitetinin (indiki BDU) mexanika-riyaziyyat fakültəsini fərqlənmə diplomu ilə bitirib.
